take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) north or south depending on starting point to the Veterans Memorial Expressway (I-355) north. 355 north turns into 290 west to Rockford just past the North Ave. toll booth. Proceed on 290 west to Rockford to Higgins Rd./Golf Rd exit. At the first stop light at the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left on to Higgins under the bridge. Follow Higgins west to just past Meacham. Wildfire is on the right hand side (north side). Turn right just past the Hampton Inn.
