Beer dinners are still going strong! The number of beer dinners that Wildfire has committed to hosting in 2011 has more than doubled from last year. It’s largely due to the overwhelming response and attendance we have received over the past 12 months. Here are a few Wildfire beer dinners that are not to be missed in the next few months in Illinois and Virginia.
Two Flossmoor Station beer dinners are scheduled on Tuesday, May 3 at Wildfire Chicago and on Tuesday, May 17 at Wildfire Glenview. We are currently pouring the Station Master Wheat Ale on draught at these three Wildfire locations
to help promote these special beer events. A few courses and beers to tempt your taste buds are the Peppercorn Crusted Rib Eye Medallion paired with the Flossmoor Station Bourbon Barrel Aged “Wooden Horse”. Also, the Mascarpone Cheese Stuffed Crepes with blood oranges, Clementines and classic Suzette sauce paired with the Saison Garfunkel is sure to please everyone - even the “non-dessert” lover.
Magic Hat Brewing Co. and Wildfire Tysons Galleria in McLean, VA, will be partnering up on Tuesday, May 10 for this location’s 1st beer dinner of 2011. The
Grilled Open Faced Skirt Steak Sandwich with asiago ciabatta, caramelized onions, mushrooms and garlic fries paired with the Magic Hat Blind Faith is sure to be a highlight of what promises to be a “magical” evening - sorry, I had to do it!
With the “great” success (I did it again - sorry) we experienced last year, we felt that we had to bring back Great Lakes Brewing Co. in 2011 for two nights in Illinois - Wednesday, May 11 at Wildfire Schaumburg and Friday, May 13 at Wildfire Lincolnshire. If the Cocoa Rubbed Rack of Lamb with Itali
an sweet pepper risotto and broiled asparagus paired with the Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald Porter wasn’t enough to convince you to reserve your spots for either of these dinners then maybe the French Chocolate Cheesecake with espresso mousse paired with the Great Lakes Commodore Perry IPA is more your “cup of tea”!
Finally, we top off the month of May in Wildfire Oakbrook with Lagunitas Brewing Co. on Monday,
May 23. A few courses that may peak your interest are the Spaghetti & Bison Meatballs with oven roasted tomato and blue cheese sauce, homemade fettuccine pasta paired with the Lagunitas IPA and the Warm German Chocolate Cake with caramel-pecan sauce paired with the Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot Ale - now I’m really hungry!
Even if you are not an avid beer lover, I encourage you to come see for yourself why our are so well received and continue to grow in popularity!
Cheers to you,
Brad Wermager
