It’s official! All of the IL Wildfire locations have rolled the new wine, martini, beer and cocktail lists!
My last blog mentioned the new Wild Burst martini, Key Lime Pie martini, Turtle Sundae martini, and the 2 “lo-cal” or as we like to call them “slender” cocktails, the Guiltless Margarita and the Skinny Pineapple Coconut. One of my favorite martinis, features one of my favorite new vodkas, Skyy Blood Orange- so yummy! This vodka is used in our new Blood Orange Cosmo which also has cranberry juice, lemon juice, lime juice and agave nectar. I love this martini because it has the perfect combination of sweet and tart flavors and I am a huge fan of blood oranges!
Another one of my favorite martinis that I highly recommend you try is the Pear-A-Dise! It’s made with Absolut Pears vodka, St-Germain Elderflower
Liqueur, lime juice and apple juice- so good! Not to sound partial or anything but, this particular recipe is probably the best pear martini I’ve ever tasted. I say this because most pear martinis I’ve tasted either have a fake pear taste or are too sweet. Check it out for yourself! If you’re on Twitter, tweet your opinion to me - @dinewithwine.
If you are a Piña Colada fan, the Colada Punch Cocktail is right up your alley. This tropical tr
eat consists of Malibu Rum, Cointreau, orange juice and pineapple juice- can you say ”aloha”? I know that many of our customers have been asking our bartenders for a Piña Colada type drink for quite some time and now we have one to please those palates- finally!
One of the hottest new vodkas in the market is the new Effen Cucumber. T
his vodka is up front and center in our Effen Spa martini and also has ingredients of fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and mint leaves- very refreshing! This drink is already one of the favorites amongst the Wildfire managers, servers and bartenders- I’m suddenly thirsty.
Don’t fret if you are a Wildfire customer outside of Illinois! The new beverage menus are coming soon to Eden Prairie and Tysons Galleria in October and in early November to Perimeter Atlanta- it will be worth the wait.
Cheers to you, Brad Wermager
